The Mass and Volume Metrology Laboratory provides traceability, inter-comparisons, and technical assistance in all mass and volume-related measurements. It also offers calibration services to a wide range of sectors, including health, manufacturing, construction, tourism, transportation, aviation, testing, regulatory bodies, and research institutions.

i) Mass Laboratory

The Mass Laboratory specializes in ensuring accuracy and traceability in mass measurements (from 1 mg to 10 tone) It provides calibration services for mass pieces (weights), balances and scales, batch plants etc

ii) Volume Laboratory

The Volume Laboratory pertorms calibration ot volume measures ranging from very small to large capacities (from 1 microlitre up to 40,000 litres). It calibrates equipment such as flasks, Micropipettes, Burettes, dispensers, syringes, measuring cylinders, strike measures and storage tanks.
